About Maria Mercedes
(Mah-ree-uh Mur-say-deez)
Maria Mercedes is one of four Marias in the orphanage and also one of two ‘Maria Mercedes.’ She is 15 years old and her favorite color is light green. She enjoys sewing, painting, making bracelets, and singing. Her favorite sport is volleyball and she wants to become a fashion designer when she grows up.
