Maria Altagracia

Maria Altagracia has been at the orphanage since she was four years old. She is now 20 years old and in her sophomore year of college. Since Maria is now a responsible adult, she helps take care of her younger siblings. She is an amazing musician. She plays the drums, sings, and writes her own songs. She also loves painting. She couldn’t pick her favorite color because she loves all colors. In the future, Maria wants to own a business and learn many different languages—starting with English (even though she knows a lot of English already). The first thing she said when asked “What do you want to do in the future?” was “ayunda las personas” which means “help people.”
